Elements sits on the quiet eastern edge of Bergen. From Amsterdam it is about 45 minutes via the A9; from Alkmaar station a quarter of an hour by car, or by bus.

Check-in
From 15:00. Arriving earlier is sometimes possible; just ask.

Drive onto the driveway and park on the far right. The guesthouse is at the rear of the grounds, with its own entrance.

The key safe

  1. A key safe hangs on the guesthouse door. Press any key to wake it.
  2. Enter your personal code and press the unlock symbol. The safe opens.
  3. The key is inside. Close the safe; it locks by itself.

In the house

Seventy square metres, eight metres of glass and everything on board. A few things worth knowing:

  • Coffee and tea are ready; the kitchen is fully equipped, with a Miele oven, induction hob and dishwasher.
  • A washer and dryer are yours to use, as is a TV with Apple TV.
  • Bed linen, towels and toiletries are laid out. For the little ones, a cot, toddler bed and high chair are there as standard.
  • The garden is shared with your hosts, who live on the same grounds; your terrace and entrance are private.
  • Quiet from 23:00 to 07:00. No smoking, no pets. Security cameras cover the outside of the grounds.

Departure

Check-out is by 11:00. We ask no more than this:

  1. Put the key back in the key safe on the door. Your code works until 11:30.
  2. Close the sliding doors and the windows.
  3. Leave the rest to us.

Forgotten something? We will let you know. A later departure is sometimes possible; ask the day before.
