What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Arrival is easy: self check-in with a lockbox, so you’re never waiting at a desk. Different timing is sometimes possible; just ask us.
Is the guesthouse suitable for children?
Yes. The second bedroom has two single beds that children love, and a cot, toddler bed and high chair are ready for the smallest guests, along with children’s books, toys and board games for rainy afternoons. Outside: an in-ground trampoline, a swing and plenty of lawn.
Are pets allowed?
No. Much as we love them, pets are not allowed at Elements.
Is there parking?
Yes, free private parking on site. Please park on the far right.
How far is the village? And the beach?
Bergen’s centre is 1.5 km away, five minutes by bike. The beach at Bergen aan Zee is 7 km: about 20 minutes by bike, straight through the dunes.
Are bikes available?
Bike rental is available in Bergen village nearby, and we’re happy to point you to the best option for e-bikes or mountain bikes when you arrive.
Is there a minimum stay?
The minimum stay varies by season and is shown automatically when you select dates in the booking calendar.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. Within 14 days of arrival, 50% of the total amount is charged; no-shows or same-day cancellations are charged in full.
Is a deposit required?
A security deposit may be required. It is refunded after check-out, provided no damage is found.
What is included in the price?
Bed linen, towels, shower amenities, Wi-Fi, Apple TV, coffee and tea, final cleaning, and parking are all included. No surprise fees at checkout.
Is the guesthouse accessible for guests with limited mobility?
The living space, master bedroom and bathroom are all on the ground floor with wide sliding doors; the second bedroom is only reachable via stairs. If you have specific accessibility needs, contact us; we’ll answer honestly about what works.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking is not permitted in or around the guesthouse.
